  1. Insurance Arrangements

It is part of the Hire agreement that the hirer organises their own Comprehensive insurance with Comfort Insurance.

Please ensure you, and all named drivers, comply to the above criteria.

Once you have confirmed your hire by paying our invoice in full, or contracted through Goboony, we will give you the policy number for the annual cover we hold with Comfort. If you are contracting through Camptoo, they will arrange insurance on your behalf.

You must phone Comfort on 0208 9840 666 and relay the policy number. This must be done at least 48 hours before cover is due to start.

Then give Comfort all the details they need regarding drivers and pay the premium.

As a condition of the insurance, on the day cover starts we will complete a vehicle handover document which records the condition of Chrissy at the commencement of the hire.

At the termination of the policy the procedure will be done again to determine the condition of Chrissy at the end of the hire.

There is a £1000 excess which must be paid by the hirer following any incident where an insurance claim is made.

  1. Security Deposit

A security deposit of £1500 is taken to cover any damage to the motorhome or damage/breakages of the equipment. When the Motorhome is returned it will be checked over and once deemed to be in a satisfactory condition as agreed, in the same condition it was let out, with toilet empty, interior clean including all cooking appliances and the fuel tank replenished, this deposit is refunded to your credit/debit card within 7 working days. We understand there will always be the odd occasion when it has been impossible to return the vehicle in the same condition as you picked it up, however we believe we operate a fair system to cover our costs in rectifying any problems.
